Loma Vista Community Centers North and South is a long-anticipated compact, mixed use village in Clovis, featuring an old-fashioned village green, main street and network of trails. Community Centers North and South are each designed around focal points such as schools or village greens. The vision is for compact, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods where residents can live, work and play. A compact land use pattern, a guiding principle of the City of Clovis, is intended to reduce sprawl and car trips as well as preserve farmland. This project required a close working relationship with the city’s planning staff to realize the City’s vision.
The master plan adopted by ordinance in 2009 serves as the zoning code. The Master Plan Document includes a conceptual site plan, development standards, architectural guidelines, prototypical building concepts, and implementation plan.
