26th and ClarksvilleUrban Housing Solutions challenged our team to create an intergenerational, art-inspired community that consisted of 138 units and 4,000 sf of commercial/non-residential space. The six-acre redevelopment project will be a mixed-used, mixed-income property. This will include commercial and affordable residential, senior housing, and flexible maker space.
Koreatown Mixed-Use DevelopmentThis 10-story Mixed-Use development, set within Koreatown, Los Angeles, will create an exciting new hub to live, shop and stay. With it’s combination of retail at street level and second level apartments with hotel above, residents and travelers will have shopping and eating options just an elevator ride away. A dynamic rooftop pool area and outdoor plazas will offer recreation and gathering opportunities that will make this new building “the place to be” for young urban professionals and visitors in the LA area.
NorthparkNorthpark Apartments will be a new and upcoming mixed-use development located in San Diego, CA. This project will feature ground level commercial space and 5 levels of residental. To ensure there was enough parking for residents and visitors, a 3 level parking structure was seamlessly integrated so it was cohesive with the design of the project. Located in the heart of the development, the amenities were strategically placed where residents can relax at the pool, lounge at the firepits, and overlook the cityscape.
Emporia PlaceLocated on the historic Holt Avenue corridor this project brings much needed affordable housing units to the city of Ontario. The project provides a multitude of units in stacked flat and townhome configurations across a community of 10 buildings with a dedicated community building. The design emphasizes unique character and individuality to each building with an integral mid project walking paseo which will connect the community to a future second phase. Landscape pockets and private outdoor patio spaces provide personal space while reinforcing an overall sense of place. Parking is provided via an on-grade podium garage, private attached garages and open lot stalls.
Renaissance SquareOffering luxury one and two-bedroom flats and urban lofts, Renaissance Square is designed to radiate an energetic vibe for young professionals. Amenities were designed to be both social and enriching, featuring a pool, recreation and social lounge, fitness center, business center, and pet areas. Throughout the project you can find generous spaces, thoughtful landscaping, and abundant natural light all within walking distance of a BART Station, shopping, and restaurants. The Ridge at Troon NorthLocated in the beautiful hills of North Scottsdale on the pristine fairways of world renown Troon North golf course, The Ridge offers its residents breathtaking views in a low-maintenance, resort-like setting that includes a pool, spa and fitness center. The Ridge at Troon North offers five different 2- and 3-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 1,381 to 2,088 square feet. Each single-level condominium has been thoughtfully crafted to celebrate indoor / outdoor living experiences in a resort-like environment that accentuates the outdoor panoramas.
Oak KnollThese small-lot single family homes are part of the mixed-use masterplanned community of Oak Knoll. The residents have access to trails along Rifle Range Creek and engaging open spaces. The restoration and relocation of the 130-year old historic Club Knoll building will be the heart of Oak Knoll community which will also offer shopping, restaurants, a variety of home types and public open space.
The small-lot single family homes in Farmhouse, Mission and Craftsman architectural styles offer detached residences near the density of attached townhomes. The homes are alley loaded to place cars in the rear thereby engaging fronts of homes with the street and parks and continuous, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks to create a vibrant community.
Milejo VillageAs a trailblazing force in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), this project has transformed lives and reinvigorated the neighborhood thanks to its vibrant design and essential social services, acting as a beacon of hope for previously homeless families within San Diego County. The architectural blend of wood accents and metal panels mirrors its multifaceted contributions to the community. Through the developer’s comprehensive onsite programs and local community collaborations, residents are nurtured with tailored support spanning education, financial literacy, and an array of essential resident services. The 1.75-acre development, replacing two single-family homes from the 1930s, now features 65-units of one, two, and three-bedroom fully-furnished apartments.

The client challenged the design team to incorporate an existing parking structure into the new building in an effort to save construction costs and schedule time. The result is a highly successful townhome and apartment project that saved the client nearly 7 million dollars. A modern yet timeless aesthetic, Nineteen01 features 250 apartment units along with 14 3-story townhome units including rooftop decks and private garages that wrap the south and east sides of the existing parking structure. Amenities include secured bicycle storage, pet spa, a 5,000 SF clubhouse, private gym, community kitchen, and a rooftop recreation deck with a pool. 2,500 SF of retail space is prominently featured at ground level along First Street in a bustling redevelopment zone within Santa Ana. Coe International served as the Architect of Record.
