This resort master plan is a mixed-use destination consisting of four unique districts: the residential district; the retail and entertainment district; the hotel district; and the waterfront theme park district. Connectivity between districts is facilitated by pedestrian paths and highlighted by large public plazas signaling the transition from one district to another.
The shopping district runs east-west across the southern edge and features retail, restaurant, and entertainment uses along a pedestrian corridor. This district features a “river walk” – a lively pedestrian experience along the waterway. The residential district is made up of mid-rise towers and townhomes along the northern Yellow Sea edge. A hotel district with retail and entertainment uses is located in the highly animated eastern portion of the plan which accesses the theme park by a pedestrian bridge.
Two Dragon LakeTwo Dragon Lake is a destination lake resort featuring over 4,000 residential units along with commercial, entertainment, and hotel elements. A 5,900 square meter (63,000 SF) lakeside clubhouse is the centerpiece of the recreational hub and will also function as the sales and visitor center. A separate clubhouse will cater to golfers at the on-site executive golf course.
A variety of home types are offered, including single-family detached, duplexes, townhomes, and mid to high-rise apartments all held to the strict orientation regulations of northern China. Baoding Golf Resort is a neighborhood of townhomes designed specifically for the relocation of the residents currently living in the area planned for the golf course.
